About Us

My Dad started shrimping in 1967 out of a John Boat in Matagorda Bay and sold his shrimp out of his home and pick-up. He wanted to sell the highest and freshest quality seafood to the public. He opened his fishhouse in Matagorda, Tx on the banks of the Colorado River, it was known as Colorado River Seafood. I am now the 2nd generation with my son’s being the 3rd . We are fighting to keep the family legacy going that my dad fought so hard to preserve, and we need the help of the American People to buy American Wild Caught to help American’s instead of Foreign Markets that are being brought over daily.

 

We take pride in our shrimp from the time it hits the deck of our familyowned operated boats to the dock. We preserve the freshness by flash freezing within minutes of hitting our deck to maintain the freshness and quality, we do this to keep from having to use preservatives, this is why we push a chemical free product
